Singapore Butterfly Park

The Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom is a wonder attraction to visit due to the wonder tropical plant life, flowers, butterflies and insects that are all around you. While you’re strolling through the park you will be witness to over 1500 live butterflies, from at least 50 species, dance magically through the air around you while within the conservatory. The ecosystem was designed to be as close to nature as possible and was in fact built as a monument to remember all the butterflies lost during urbanization and deforestation throughout the world. Also on display is the Insect Revolution exhibit which shows how insects have evolved. Insect fossils dating back millions of years are on display to help illustrate this evolution process.

A 70 meter long cave which will house live insect specimens is also currently in construction and would be a first in the world. You’ll be able to see thousands of insect specimens in their natural habitat.
Stage shows which demonstrate how to handle large scorpions, beetles and other insects are performed twice a day which could offer a lot of entertainment.
The Singapore Butterfly Park and Insect kingdom is open daily at 9AM and closes at 6:30PM and the tour takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
